Matching Gifts
and Employee Giving

Corporate matching gifts are a great way to maximize personal contributions to Safe Harbor Center and increase the impact of your gift. By taking advantage of a company’s matching gift benefit, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of a contribution. Each company has its own guidelines for employees, spouses, retirees, and widows/widowers. Inquire with your human resources or community relations department, and ask for the proper form to request that your company match your gift.

Most corporate procedures are simple:

• Request a Matching Form from your company
• Complete and submit the form to Safe Harbor Center along with your gift
• Safe Harbor will verify the completed form and return it to the company
• The company issues a matching gift contribution to Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor Center participates in the world’s largest and most successful workplace charity campaigns, United Way of Coastal Georgia and the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Through the CFC, as well as state and local campaigns, government workers support the Foundation through payroll deductions.

Pledges made during the annual campaign season (September 1 to December 15) help us fund vital programs and services that directly benefit children and youth throughout Coastal. Georgia.
