Safe Harbor’s Connie Smith Rape Crisis Center (CSRCC) provides services that are used in an effort to stabilize the lives of the victims and their families. We support their physical and emotional healing, and help them to return to healthy individual and family functioning, while assisting them through the judicial process.
24-Hour Crisis Line: 24-hours a day, seven days a week, the crisis line provides support and information to victims of sexual assault and their families and friends. Trained volunteers and advocates support the crisis line. If you would like to help volunteer, please contact our community resource coordinator, Andrea Belton, at email@example.com.
S.A.N.E: Our Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program is provided directly at our facility. A specially trained certified nurse works closely with our victims of sexual assault to help ensure physical health. Our SANE Nurse also works closely with our police department to collect evidence that could potentially be used for criminal prosecution.
Individual Crisis Counseling: We offer short-term individual counseling for victims and collateral victims of sexual assault.
Advocacy: Our victim advocates offer support and accompaniment to victims throughout the victims/collateral victims process. This support includes but is not limited to follow up after-care and referrals to outside community resources.
Community Education: Request a speaker for your business, club, school, civic or community group to present a program on sexual assault issues to raise awareness about this important issue by emailing LaTanya Roberts at firstname.lastname@example.org.
