Imagine…What it is like to go to bed hungry? What it is like to tell your family that there is not enough food to go around? How do you feed a family of five when your paycheck is barely enough to cover the rent? These are questions many families in our community are wrestling with this Thanksgiving season.
For many, a Thanksgiving meal is sadly not going to happen this year. But there is hope!
Cody Duke of Beacon Risk Advisors and Ellis Tucker of First Glynn Bank, along with several other local businesses, have teamed up with Safe Harbor Children’s Center to provide Thanksgiving meals to local families who would otherwise not have a Thanksgiving meal this year.
Each family will receive boxes full of ingredients and items containing all the traditional trimmings to take home and prepare for their family. However, We Need Your Help!
To support this effort, donations of nonperishable food items and ingredients from your favorite recipes can be donated at Safe Harbor Center or at the following Food Collection sites throughout Glynn County:  Beacon Risk Advisors, Sandy Bottom BagelsThe Wick 1.0, 2.0, 3.0Sanctuary Cove Golf Course, and Blaze Pizza.
